I stepped on a golf course for the first time around the age of 8 years old. Since then I have fell in love with this game. I started playing competitively at the age of 12 when i entered in Saskatchewan provincials. This was a great start to my competitive career. Ever since this point I've known that I love competitive golf and have always been trying to improve myself to be a better player ever since. The same things go from my collegiate goals and aspirations. I want to try and improve to be the best player I can be. Excelling in every area that i can, including becoming a better person, working hard to get good marks in school and improving my golf game.
I would be a good candidate for your team because of my work ethic. I am always giving my best effort whether that would mean my school work, in daily life and in my golf game. Every day I am able to I practice I go until dark hitting numerous amounts of balls, wedge game practice and putting. I believe this type of mental drive gives me an edge on the field.
I am different from the other recruits in character because I am a very easy going guy, I don't get upset very easily. In my golf game I am different from other recruits because I have a lot of experience on big stages, an example of this is when I was 15 years old I qualified for Canadian Junior Nationals in Bridgewater Nova Scotia, also at the 2013 CN Future Links Prairie Championship in Swift Current I placed 15th. Also in 2014 I won Saskatchewan Junior Provincial Championships by 7 shots and represented Saskatchewan in the 2014 Canadian Junior Nationals in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Another difference I have from other recruits is I work on my mental game every chance i get, this helps me immensely. In academics my drive and compassion from golf carries over to my studies as I work hard and strive to get the best grades possible.
