Zach Nelson Class...Personal Statement
My name is Zachary Nelson and I am a senior, Class of 2025, at Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club, Texas. I have been competing in golf since my freshman year of high school. One of my best achievements is my development from shooting in the 100s to 80s within 2 years. I have dedicated myself to improving my game which has not only strengthened my athletic abilities but also instilled in me the values of hard work, discipline, and teamwork. I also do this while maintaining my 3.7 GPA and I am proud of my ability to multi-focus on my education and my passion for golf.
Personal Bests Statistics: Two-day NTPGA All American Tournament at Hawks Creek 10/21-10/22/23: 166 (+22; 83/83) and an 82 (+10) at NTPGA Medalist Tournament at Bridlewood on 07/01/2024. My personal best in a high school round was 83 at Lake Park on 10/2/23. My goal during my senior year is to continue improving my game and lowering my scores into the 70s.
