Jordan McConnell '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6', 175lb centre/right winger from Airdrie, Alberta Canada. I am 17 years old and currently play in the AJHL with the Drayton Valley Thunder.  To date, I have played 53 games.  I have 23 points, 11 goals and 12 assists.  I am a good student with a current GPA of 3.3. I am able to effectively manage the demands and stress that come with playing hockey at a high level, and still continuing to do well in school.  I enjoy playing all sports, however my true passion is hockey.  I feel as though I can be an impact player at any level that I play, and I love the challenge when being pushed to my limits.

For the past 3 previous seasons I was top scorer on my team and received numerous MVP and Top Forward awards.  Last season I played with the UFA Bisons, Midget AAA team.  We were successful in winning the AMHL Championship, the Midget AAA Pacific Championship, and participated in the Telus Cup.

My future goals are to continue to play hockey at the highest level possible, as well as obtain a post-secondary education.  I would one day like to be a successful lawyer.
