My name is Kaiden Aligour and I’m a 15-year-old hockey player and Captain of my team. I have set my sights on collegiate hockey and would like to share my goals and aspirations with you, the coaches. I believe I am a strong candidate for your team due to my unique combination of character, athletics, and academics.

First and foremost, my collegiate goal is to not only excel in hockey but also to pursue a degree that aligns with my interests. I understand the importance of balancing athletics and academics, as I strive to maintain high grades while dedicating myself to the sport I love. By prioritizing my education alongside my hockey career, I aim to become a well-rounded student-athlete.

In terms of my character, I believe my natural leadership, dedication, discipline, and teamwork skills set me apart from other recruits. I am fully committed to putting in the necessary effort and time to improve my skills on and off the ice. In athletics, my versatility as a right wing, centre and whatever is needed by my coaches and team allows me to adapt to different positions and contribute to team strategy. I am constantly working on improving my skills, speed, and agility, and I am eager to learn from experienced coaches and teammates. I have a strong work ethic and a relentless drive to push myself to new heights, both individually and as part of a team. I am always seeking feedback and constructive criticism to further refine my skills and contribute to the team's success.
