Hello, my name is Jake Jana, I am a senior at St. Rita High School in Chicago, Illinois. I am 5’9 and weigh 180 pounds, I play left wing but I am comfortable with playing anywhere on the ice. I play both Varsity Hockey and Lacrosse. I am apart of the St. Rita Improv club. I am a strong student in the classroom, with a 3.66 career GPA, high honors student, and the recipient of the 2021 Chapman O.S.A scholarship at St. Rita High School. I plan on taking Civil Engineering in college. I have a part time job as a hockey ref and an avid member of the St. Rita Community helping with camps. I strive to make myself better both in the class and on the ice. My greatest skill for me is my tenacity, I hate quitting on a play or an assignment. I am a physical player who isn’t afraid to go in the corner with a player. I want to play college hockey because I believe that with my focus and my determination that nothing is impossible for me. I am a playmaker who gets the puck and gets to the front of the net. My weakness is that I forget the basics an example is skating form, but I never quit and always strive to improve myself so that I can help my team. Please consider me as a option and if you have any questions contact me below.
