Riley Joyce '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking individual with a tenacious personality. This is reflected in my game as I always play like the game is scoreless and no matter the size or skill of the player, I will always attack with the same effort.  I have received feedback that I am a very “coachable” player – I am always open to feedback from my coaches on how to improve my skills, not just for me, but for the overall betterment of the team.  I also consider myself a “selfless” player – it is not about how I show up on the ice as an individual, but how I contribute to my team overall.

Academically I excel and use the same attitude towards school as I always work hard to complete assignments, even when optional, and am not afraid to ask for help, when required.

My goal is to play University Hockey and play for four more years, to potentially one day achieve my goal of becoming a professional hockey player.  I will also use the opportunity to further my educational goals of successfully graduating with a degree that I am proud of.
