Private One on On...Personal Statement
I feel that schools and coaches would benefit from recruiting me because I view myself as a complete package. By this I mean I feel that I excel in athletics, academics, and I am a mature individual.
On the ice I am a quiet leader who leads by example. I posses a strong work ethic on and off the ice and I am dedicated to the team. As an individual player I believe I am very coach-able, always carry a positive attitude and I have a lot of respect for the game. The strength of my game is in my technique and understanding of the entire game.
Off the ice I strive to be the best student i can whether it be in the classroom, studying, or in the dorm. I have the same level of respect towards teachers and classmates that I have for officials, team mates and coaches on the ice. In my grade 12 year I have been selected as an academic house leader.
I have learned at an early age {grade 9 year} what it is like to live away from home as I experienced dorm life at Notre Dame. During this time I have learned how to adapt to room mates, I have gained personal responsibility/accountability, and feel that I have matured into a young adult.

- AwardsI was successful in achieving the Honour Roll status for both semesters in my Grade 9 year. Received a $3,000 scholarship to Notre Dame for achieving TOP 5 students in my grade for Math, Science and Social Studies. Received a $1500 Scholarship to the University of Saskatchewan I was successful in achieving Honour Roll status for each semester in my grade 10 year. i was successful in achieving Honour Roll status for both semesters in my grade 11 year. I also received a $3,000 academic scholarship. this was awarded tot he top 5 students in my Grade 11 class. I am currently an academic House Leader for grade ten and eleven students.
