Lucas Bonnet '26 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for visiting my profile page. My name is Lucas Bonnet, I finished my Freshmen year at Sequoia High School 2022-23 in Redwood City, California. For my Sophomore year, 2023-24 season, I moved across country to Attleboro, Massachusetts to join 16AAA Northeast Generals Academy as their starting goalie. It has been a significant change for me and my family, I appreciate their support in my new journey playing hockey in Massachusetts. My goal is to play in a Junior Hockey team and D1 team in college. Education is really important to me and I work hard to keep my GPA at or as close to 4.0 as I can. 

It's been a great and challenging experience moving out of my home in California at age 15 and adapting to my new life in Attleboro, MA.  I love playing hockey in the Northeast and across country against the best TIER1 teams. I had to adapt quickly to manage my busy schedule between hockey, school work, and doing chores on my own living away from home.  It's been great, I am getting more ice time now than I could ever get in California.  

I've been an ice hockey goalie at local clubs since 2017. I really enjoy being a goalie in a competitive team working with my teammates and coaches to continue to improve my athletic skills. 

In addition to being a goalie, I've been a referee since 2021. It's my first job and I really enjoy officiating local games. Being a referee is an important responsibility and it also gives me a different perspective of the game. Besides hockey, I learned how to play piano and guitar, I am fluent in French and know some Chinese and Spanish. I played JV Water Polo Freshman year, I like to travel internationally, go surfing, camping, fishing, riding dirt motorcycles, alpine and water skiing.
