I am a 2008 right winger/center from rural Alberta, Canada. I started skating when I was 3 years old on a frozen dugout on my family's cattle ranch. Growing up on a cattle ranch has made me quite different from my peers. I had responsibilities and chores from a very young age. On the ranch, we all have to pitch in to get the job done. This is something that has stuck with me in everything I do. When I play hockey, I am usually able to quickly understand what my coach requires of me, and I work hard to get that job done. When I am working on school work, it's the same principle. I have been an honor roll student since grade 6. I have been able to maintain honor roll status even when I moved to the US to attend a boarding school. I am attending school in the Boston area with the ambition to play hockey for a top notch College or University while working towards a degree in business and then eventually law.
