Ryan Blackburn '21 Recruiting Profile

    My name is Ryan Blackburn. I play hockey with a passion. I strive to become a better athlete as well as a better person each and every day. I work hard because hockey is such a big part of my life, and I love it so much. For me, I play for the love of the game, the family with your teammates(brothers) is created, and for the life lessons that can be learned. I believe that I am the type of player that plays the game because I love to be at the rink, I want to improve, and for the memories of a lifetime. My goal in hockey is to play Tier Two or Tier One Juniors, and then move on to college hockey following Juniors. I push myself to become a better player through focusing on technical skills, speed, and strength conditioning, paying attention to details, every day. I have the mentality, drive, and passion of becoming a better all around hockey player. No matter the outcome of my hockey career, I will always love the game and never forget, why I play it.
