Lou DeFalco '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi.  I'm Lou DeFalco, let me tell you about myself and  how I play hockey.

For the 2021-2022 season, I am playing on the North Jersey Avalanche 16U AAA American Team.  I am a Junior at Xavier High School, an all male Jesuit High School, in New York City and will graduate in 2023.

I am a grinder that leaves it out there every time I am on the ice. I am a two way player that works just as hard in the defensive zone as I do in the offensive zone. I will always do whatever is needed to help the team win and have played both offense and defense. In fact, there were times when I started a shift on offense and ended it on defense! I will always be the first to get into the corners, battle in front of the net, and work to get the dirty goal. I understand the importance of being a good teammate and that it takes a good culture to create a winning program. I find myself to be very coachable and appreciate both positive and corrective feedback in regards to my play. With that said, I will guarantee that NO ONE will ever out hustle me.
