I have been playing hockey since I was three years old and have grown a huge passion for the game. Since about 10 years old I have dreamt about playing college hockey. I believe that being a college athlete is a big responsibility and I am willing to put in 110% effort on and off the ice the to accomplish this goal.
In the classroom, I am a dedicated student maintaining around a 3.8 GPA. On the ice, I strive to be the hardest working player in practice and in games. I am fully dedicated to the sport and always giving maximum effort every shift. I work hard year-round to improve my skills. I consider myself a mentally toughperson. I push myself and always encourage my teammates to do their best. I consider myself to be a good teammate. I am very coachable and I try to lead by example on and off the ice.
I am a very focused and a high IQ hockey player. I am a dynamic, elusive, quick change of direction skater. I have excellent stick handling with puck protection abilities. I am good passer with excellent vision on the ice. I am an unselfish player who believes in team offense. I do not mind having the puck during critical parts of game and make the best of scoring opportunities. I am a physical player along the boards who is not afraid of contact. I am a relentless pursuer for the puck playing all 200 feet of the ice.
I currently play for Team Ohio High School. I am also rostered on the Team Ohio 16U premier pre post team. In the off season I am in the gym and consistently participating in skill sessions. I am also on the varsity golf team for my school as well as caddying at Elyria Country Club in my spare time. Being a caddy has taught me great communication skills, and how to be respectful. This translates over into my relationships with coaches, teachers and my parents.
I feel I am one of the hardest working recruits you can find. I’m always willing to do what’s best for the team. I strive to get better every day and I’m hoping to one day be able to play at the college level.
