My two years with the Magog Cantonniers in Midget AAA were two that’ll never forget. In those seasons, I definitely grew as a person. I became a real leader in my second year, started to play with way more confidence and also learned how to work in a team to be raise our game to another level. In the summer of 2018, I received an invitation from the Shawinigan Cataractes in the QMJHL, but decided not to show up to camp to maintain my NCAA Eligibility.
As a student-athlete, I also gained a lot of maturity the past two years. We didn’t have that much time in class to complete our homework because of our extracurricular activities (mine was hockey), so I had to effectively utilize my time management and make sure I finished my studies on time. I really wanted to make sure I put my efforts into something that I knew I could achieve. I am really looking forward to the path ahead. I truly believe that playing college hockey is the best path for my future and that no one will ever regret taking a chance on me.
