Personal Statement

I am a player who is passionate about having a growth mindset. In everything I do, whether it is on the ice, off the ice, or in the classroom, I am continually looking to improve myself as a player, as a student, and as a person. I am extremely coachable and welcome feedback, as I know it gives me the opportunity to grow. I am a quick learner, which allows me to implement the feedback I receive. I strive for excellence in all that I do, which makes me a fierce competitor. I set very high expectations for myself, and I thrive in situations where high expectations are the norm.

My greatest hockey attributes are that I am a highly skilled player and a very strong skater. I also have great vision and hockey IQ, which allows me to be a key playmaker. Academically, I completed Grade 11 (Junior Year) with an overall average of 100%, which ranks me first in my class at my high school.
