William Carney '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a very competitive, athletic, and technically skilled goalie that thrives in situations that challenge me the most, and my highly competitive nature doesn’t accept failure, it only makes me stronger. 

I've been able to hone my skills over the last five years with first class instruction from ex NHL’er, Billy Pye, who has helped mold my skills as a technically sound goaltender, and I continue to suck up knowledge of the game like a sponge, wanting more and more as I grow.  Spending time with my Junior A team I’ve come to love the "comradery" and being part of a true team, a hockey family, and being able to continue in my development on and off the ice by spending almost every day training and developing.   

I’m blessed to be able to pursue hockey in an environment that will allow me to grow both as a young man and athlete, and I look forward to what the future holds.  I’m driven and committed to become the best that I can be and to give everything to my organization and my team!
