My name is Gvido Jansons! I am from Latvia, Grobiņa! I am 18 years old. I have started to play hockey when I was 5 years old. Till now I have been training hard, because my goal has always been to play hockey and to play it in good team and good league. I am very demanding to my self, and I try to devote all my resources to become a better player and a person. I believe to become a good player it is not only about being skilful, powerful on ice, but also to have a good decission making skills and analytical capacities both on and of ice.
I am not the one who thinks that, hockey is all my life and education is not important. It does not mean that playing hockey is not a goal for me, of course it is , but I understand that I will not be playing hockey all my life professionally, as it juts physically and mentally is not impossible. Everyone must keep in mind that professional sports career at some time ends, and then we athletes have to figure out what to dot, and it is great to know, that during crazy hockey times, You have gained good education, which You can use.
Difficult to explaine, what makes me better than other athletes, but one I can tell for sure, Hockey is my passion , and it tells everything about my working, training and playing culture, and also about things outside the hockey. As my belief is: "If you have found in your life something (playing, training understadning hockey) that drives you do all the best in order to achieve the highest peaks, all the rest ( education, family, friends entertainment) outside only supports it and makes come true!"
