My name is Jaiden Espinosa, I’ve been playing lacrosse since the middle of my freshman year for my schools Varsity team. I had 5 goals coming out of my first season playing the sport which doesn’t seem like much but I felt very proud of myself for being able to do that at such a high level of competition. I missed most of my sophomore year due to getting a knee surgery and my recovery as many others became a little discouraging but I always had my lax community bringing me up and helping me with the process to heal not only physically but mentally as well I don’t just see my team as teammates or just athletes I see them as a family that stick by each other no matter what. I do plan on being a student athlete in collage, although I don’t require to go to college to become a firefighter which is what I want to do I still want to go to college and continue my education and get a degree while also still sticking with lacrosse because although I have not playing the sport as long as others I still grew a passion for the sport and I do see a future in the sport. I do dream of being a division 1 athlete but I would be more then grateful to compete at any level and continue my journey as not only a lacrosse player but an athlete in general.
