Personal Statement
I am the oldest of 2 brothers. I was born in Memphis, Tennessee and soon after moved to Allentown, Pennsylvania until I was 10 years old. Before entering the 5th grade my family moved to Carmel, Indiana where I am currently living today.
I first started playing lacrosse when I was in 4th grade and immediately fell in love with the physical requirements and skill requirements of the sport. I received a varsity letter in lacrosse my freshman and sophomore year and varsity lettered my sophomore year in football. I am very proud of the fact that I was the only sophomore in the state of Indiana to be selected as an US All American and 1st Team All State for high school lacrosse. I was also selected as a candidate for the USDT National Combine, but was unable to attend due to my commitment to my high school football team.
As a student and an athlete I commit the same passion and energy in the classroom as a I do on the field. I prefer to lead by example by always doing the right things on and off the field. I am very competitive and play the game with a high level of intensity and confidence. I devote my free time to studying and learning new techniques and skills to improve my game and I always look for opportunities to sharpen my lacrosse IQ. I consider myself to be very coachable and a loyal member on any team I have the opportunity to play for.
My goal is to not only commit to a lacrosse school, but to earn playing time my first year.
