UPDATE: After spending my freshman year at Cleveland State University, I have transferred to Howard Community College in Columbia, MD. I am excited about the opportunities at Howard and am looking forward to developing as a player and a student. I will get my associate's degree from Howard this summer and then look forward to returning to an NCAA program for the coming year.
Sometimes it's easy to focus too much on life's struggles, but when I reflect on my life right now I know I am blessed in many ways. I love lacrosse, and I have been blessed to make All State as a sophomore and junior as well as All Star at the Midwest Elite Top 80 Showcase. I love music, and I have been blessed to make the 2016 Nebraska All State Choir. Then I was voted as a team captain for this year, my junior season. I want to be a leader on my team, and my coach nominated me to be part of a special program at my school called the Ignatian Leadership Institute. I know God has blessed me with gifts, and I am doubly blessed because I have great people around me to encourage me and help me share my gifts with others.
I want to continue playing lacrosse and making choral music in college so I can further develop my interests and use them to benefit others. I want to major in marketing so I can use my abilities to relate positively to others for the sake of advancing something good -- and I dream of being able to help grow the sport of lacrosse in my future professional life.
I am searching for the right program that will challenge me to better myself in every possible way: personally, academically, athletically, socially and spiritually. I have something to prove and I would like the chance to prove myself to you and an amazing program. If that's the kind of person you want in your program, please let me know. I look forward to hearing from you.
