2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
From being 5 years old lacrosse has been my primary sport. Defending has been my consistent position. I am a fast, physical, on the ball defenseman. I defend the high side from win dodgers and hold my own from attackers from X. Making aggressive slides and directing my defense in the correct rotation are part of my defending lacrosse IQ. In the clearing aspect of the game I facilitate from the wings and use speed to get up and out to transition the ball.
Being a leader on my lacrosse team has helped me become a leader in other sports. As a freshman (besides lacrosse) I played JV football and competed in track. Being a multi-sport athlete requires extra attention to focusing on academics. I completed my freshman year with a 4.0 gpa.
Lacrosse has been such a huge part of my life. I am a dedicated student-athlete who is looking forward to playing at the highest level of lacrosse.
