My collegiate aspirations are to attend nursing school and continue playing lacrosse at the college level. I am a good candidate for coaches' teams not only for my determination, and self-discipline but coachability. I always have open ears to someone who is willing to give me any tips, tricks, or advice to make me a better player. I was captain of my JV lacrosse team last season because I was always trying to lift others up and improve all the time. I am President of my school’s Future Farmers of America chapter. I was put in that leadership position because my advisors and fellow classmate knew I would excel in that position. I am also a waterfront lifeguard at our local county’s lakefront park. This job requires athleticism, awareness, and self-discipline because I am in charge of ensuring people’s safety. I am a good candidate because of my determination and self-discipline. During practice, games, or even if I am outside after a late-night practice I will try my best to help improve my team, and my own skill level. The most important thing to me is my academics. Before I step on the field for games or practice, all of my homework, tests, and other assignments are turned in for the day. During the season, I helped teammates who needed help. Our school prides its athletes on being students before athletes. My hard work in class and out of the classroom has made me want to continue playing lacrosse, and pursue a career in the medical field. Another reason why I want to pursue a career in the medical field is my desire to help others. I am compassionate and always want to lift others up. I have a little brother who plays lacrosse and this season, I went to his practices and games and was helping out in any way I could. I am also a referee for the local youth lacrosse league. I am on a travel lacrosse team, play varsity soccer and I am on the varsity swim team. I always focus on improving myself and being better.
