Personal Statement
My name is Tagrt Houghton. I am a 2020 graduate out of North Carolina. I attend Weddington High School. I am a multi-sport athlete; I play football and lacrosse. I have played competitive lacrosse for 5 years. I consider myself a leader on and off of the field. I have been a captain multiple times for Weddington and my club team, Team Carolina, and always push my teammates to give it their all. I always strive to be the best on and off the field. My goal is to always be the hardest worker whether we are conditioning at the end of a long practice, or taking a day in the weight room. I also fill my schedule with challenging classes. I take many AP classes, and honors where AP credit is not available. I stay up late studying and wake up early to lift or condition on my own before class, with practices after school. My mentality is to make an impact on those around me and help get everyone better.
