Ashton Kearns '25 Recruiting Profile

Some of my aspirations in college are to major in medical studies. During my childhood, I spent around 5 years in Shanghai, China. This allowed me to pick up the language, mandarin, and learn more about other cultures. I believe that I am a good candidate for many teams because I am a team player. I make sure to communicate my ideas and critiques clearly to help myself and my teammates play better. Another one of my strengths is that I am a very outgoing person, I am not afraid to reach out and talk to a coach about a problem I am having nor am I afraid to do the same with my teammates. In terms of athletics, I am a very solid athlete. I currently have practice 3 times a week and gym 2 times a week in the offseason. During my regular season, I plan to increase this even more. This should show just how committed I am to getting better and growing as a teammate and a person. In terms of academics, I currently am doing very well in school. I enjoy my studies and am taking 5 higher-level courses, AP Psychology, AP Chinese, AP US History and Honors Anatomy, Honors Bioinformatics, and enjoy these as well.
