I have had to prove myself to new school and club coaches throughout several moves as a military brat. This allowed me to identify and focus on my strengths and weaknesses each time that I had to restart my lacrosse career.
As a close defender, the best part of my game is probably my lacrosse IQ and positioning. I am consistently in the right place to knock down passes and block or run out shots. Additionally, my man down play is very strong and I am able to work with any team to win the ball back when short-handed. Physically, my athleticism is another one of my best attributes. I run track in the winter and have played soccer in the fall for my high school. This has allowed me to clear the ball quickly and also recover and get back in time in case the ball changes possession.
I have focused my college search on small, academically selective schools in New England and New York because of how much I enjoyed my time at Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts. I would love to continue my lacrosse career competing for Division III championships in the NESCAC or Liberty League. I look forward to the opportunity to prove myself once again and earn a starting position in college.
