My name is Ben Adkins and I am wanting to play college lacrosse. I became interested in lacrosse at the age of 10 while watching my brother play for his high school team. I began playing for our local Y team. We have always been successful in WV and have been in the state championship game in 2 of my 3 high school seasons. I am on a team year round, I play football in the fall, church basketball in the winter and lacrosse in the spring. My best friends are my teammates and I am looking for that same relationship in college.
Sports have taught me leadership, optimism, sportsmanship and time management. I am a football team captain now and was in middle school and midget league. School performance is important to me and I have one of the highest GPA's of any of the athletes on my teams. I am quiet and reserved and I am wanting to attend a small college or university where I can get to know my professors and classmates. I am interested in attending medical school and want to attend a college with a strong science and pre-med program.
