I began rowing at the age of 13 years old. Ever since it has been my number one goal to improve in form and speed. I row at St. Andrew Rowing club in Roswell, Georgia and my coaches and teammates have greatly helped me improve as a rower. This past season I was elected as U17 team captain and I work very hard to lead and set a good example for our u17 team in hopes that our young team will develop into a dominant club in the South East.
Outside of rowing, I work very hard in school and have always excelled to keep my GPA above 4.0. I also am a part of my high school's academic team and I participate in academic tournaments around Atlanta. I am a very quick learner in school and in Rowing and adapt very quickly to new environments.
I want to go to an academically challenging college with a competitive men's lightweight rowing team. I am open to many options that I can fit rowing and academics into. I hope to attend a prestigious school where I can excel academically and athletically.
