Rowing is a special part of my life, as it has taught me valuable lessons, introduced me to incredible people, and changed how I approach life. As I enter the final year of my high school career I am inspired to think about what kind of legacy I want to leave behind. What kind of impact do I want to have on myself, my teammates, the team, and our rowing community as a whole. I am prompted to reflect on whether or not I’ve made these lasting impacts. I think that my greatest attribute is my passion and appreciation for the sport of rowing as it helps me to cultivate a positive, driven, and encouraging team environment. As an individual, I am very driven to become better and will give 100% to any team and crew that I am on. I am also very coachable and strive to be the best version of myself on and off the water.
