I am a rising Senior who takes academics seriously. I've always been intrigued with the brain and why people behave the way they do.
This prompted my interest to pursue a degree and career in the field of Psychology.
Throughout the early stages of my life, soccer was completely out of the picture. My life basically consisted of baseball, music, school, and
church. I was first introduced to the game of soccer in an after school program in elementary school. My immense passion for soccer continued
to grow. Because I was not allowed to play the first year of middle school (school rules), I became a Soccer Manager for the team. I practiced
with the team and improved my skills and learned a lot about the game. My very first club year (2015) of playing soccer, I started off playing
center back. Then, that same year, my middle school coach started endorsing me at right wing and subsequently, started positioning me at
striker. In my Freshman year of high school, I had an epiphany. I told coach I could play CDM and turns out I was pretty good at it. I ended up
getting promoted to Junior Varsity that same year and started on Varsity my Sophomore year. Throughout my varsity years, my
coach would sometimes put me at striker.
In conclusion, I've played almost every position! I love them all, but CDM is my favorite! The game has helped me realize how emotional of a
person I am. Sometimes when I'm passing against the wall, I'd get hot when I fail to execute a perfect touch. I'd cry when we lose games. I'd cry
when we win games. My passion for the game continues to nag at me to get better. The game motivated me to keep my grades up,
because my momma will take me straight out of it. When looking back at my soccer career, my dribbling skills, speed, defense, and my ability to
utilize the full width of the field are my strongest aspects of the game.
