Iain Acosta '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, I am Iain Acosta. First, my greatest aspiration is to become a soccer player who is magical when playing; in other words, a player who, when he plays, makes you ask yourself, "How did he do that?" because players like these are the ones I grew up watching. Equally important, I am a good candidate because I love the sport and dedicate most of my time to it. I started playing soccer when I was 4 years old, which means I have been playing for 12 years now. Not only that, but I have also lived 9 years in Peru, where I spent most of my time playing the beautiful game. Having this much experience has taught me countless lessons, from the different techniques for shooting a ball to the magic of dribbling. After many failures and successes, I am now in a very competitive club and doing my very best on the field. Now, I want to take it to the next step and play college soccer.
