Sal Piccolo '24 Recruiting Profile

As a high-performing keeper, I know all about playing with grit, determination, and for the love of game. I’ve been playing soccer since I was four and knew I wanted to pursue being a goalie early on. Since then I’ve dedicated myself to improving my goalie skills through club development opportunities and extra one on one coaching. I always strive to do my personal best.

I have a reputation as a goalie who gives it his all and makes heart-stopping saves. In 2019, I was one of two players nominated for male athlete of the year for my age group. 

I have been selected to play at the provincial level, as well as spent 2 seasons playing with the pre-MLS Whitecaps Academy team. As a keeper, what I can offer a college soccer team is leadership on the field and in the dressing room. On the field I communicate to my team and we work together to victory. 

My work ethic and skill development is key to the opportunities I’ve had to play at the highest level possible. I look forward to bringing these skills to a competitive college or university soccer program who is looking for a tenacious keeper who puts it all on the line to stop the shot.
