Hello, my name is Erick Chmelyk and I live in Langley, British Columbia (Vancouver). I play for Surrey United Soccer Club in the EA Sports BC Soccer Premier League, which is the highest level of play within BC. I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and I have a huge passion for the sport. I am a very hard worker and an extremely competitive person. A few of my strengths include my natural left foot, speed, endurance, vision of the game, crossing ability, and overall defending ability. The combination of my ability to read the play and attacking style makes me a great outside back ('wing back'). I bring the same work ethic and discipline to the classroom, where I also excel academically with a 4.0 GPA. For post-secondary, I'm looking to be part of a high level soccer team and develop my skills, but I also want to pursue a quality education at the same time. More specifically, I am interested in pursuing an education in Engineering or Science. I am willing to give my all in every practice and game, and I will represent the school well on and off the field. Thank you for reading my profile and considering me as a recruit.
