Through out my life I have always devoted it towards soccer, but more important was school. Being raised in a hardworking Salvadoran household, my parents instilled me the importance of education. The mentality that I then developed was always doing good in school, if I wanted to continue to play soccer. Therefore I then committed myself in doing good in school, but always training and playing soccer as well. In my family education has always been important, and is always placed first among all things. My dream is to attend college, the idea of me pursing my education is what my family including myself hold more to value than anything else. Throughout the many years of playing soccer, it has taught me to be more than just being a competitive player. I have learned in what it means to be a leader, taking initiative of my actions, and become responsible for myself and my teams actions. I have always been persistent throughout soccer, and have always try to push myself beyond my limits. Soccer is a sport that incorporates a team effort and dedication. I have learned how to lose and how to win, that you must show respect to the opposing team no matter what. Overall, I am a respectful, kind, and hardworking person when playing soccer and ad an overall individual. I hold this value to my heart, as I continue my journey through High school and eventually college.
