Lucas Munroe '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lucas Munroe. I’m a 17 year old left footed winger and attacking midfielder. I currently play for Stanford soccer club and Hillsdale high school varsity. I have been invited to play the 2023-2024 season with CD Toledo of the Liga Nacional in Spain. I’ve been playing soccer ever since I was little but developed my passion for the game around 13. I love training and putting in hard work with my team as well as individually. My favorite part about soccer is the creativity in it. Some of my strengths include dribbling, being creative with the ball, skill moves, and my speed and fitness. Last season I was the fittest on my varsity team lasting the longest in the beep test. Freestyle juggling is one of my favorite things to do with a ball. I love learning new tricks and seeing how long I can keep the ball up. It improves your first touch, and it’s helps you get comfortable with the ball, not only at your feet but with other parts of the body as well. Academically, I love criminal justice and I take college courses about it in my high school.
