To say that soccer is my passion is an understatement. I have been working toward perfecting my performance on the field since I was 5 years old, and have dreamed of playing at the college level.  I feel strongly that the values and disciplines that I have learned  and developed as I progress in the sport, are invaluable to helping me be successful in the next chapter of both my academic and sports career.  COMMITMENT, CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, DEDICATION AND LOYALTY are the things that I will always take with me from my experiences on and off the field.  

I am an extremely  hard worker with a personal drive to contribute to not only my team’s success, but also to a supportive and positive team environment.  My teammates are my extended family and the relationships that I have built in my years playing soccer are some of the longest and strongest friendships that I have. 

During my high school years, I have spent most of my time playing on MLS Next teams, giving me a great venue for development and growth.  Last year, I did have the opportunity to play on my high school varsity team and the experience was a game-changer, with a coach who valued the mental and strategy portion of the game as much as fitness and training.  Learning to develop my mental grit and strategic mind-set took my playing to another level. I was the highest scorer on the team, the second highest scorer in the league and I was able to help to take our team to an undefeated season. 

The sports psychology of the game that I learned with my high school coach has inspired me to major in psychology in college.  While the sport of soccer, playing at the college level and becoming a valuable contributor to a college team are a priority, I am extremely excited to begin to focus my academic studies toward my long-term career goals.  I am very much looking  forward to working with the coaches and teachers that I will be fortunate to meet in the next coming years, and the amazing experiences I will have in my college years.
