Emmitt Sherer '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a Senior at Fountain Valley School of Colorado, a prep school in Colorado Springs, CO.  I found this school for its rigorous academics, good sports offerings, and strong values. 

I have been a dual athlete playing both soccer and hockey. I have been playing high level club soccer and currently play 18U AAA hockey. I maintain a high level of commitment and success in both my sports while also sustaining good grades at a very academically demanding school. I currently play for Pride Copa '03 team out of Colorado Springs, CO. I also play varsity soccer for Fountain Valley School's varsity team (fall 2021).  I play as a midfield for club and , this defense for high school varsity. Prior to moving to Colorado I played for the Park City Soccer Club and during that time I also played on an elite invitational tournament team made up of Park City Club and Monterey County, CA players.

I am a strong, quick, skilled and a technical athlete. I have been told by my coaches over the years that I am one of the most coachable, consistent, and reliable players they have ever coached. I am a team player and my strength lies in my strong play making skills. My personal values include drive, determination, honesty, commitment and putting in 110 % into anything I do from athletics, academics, to my family and friends. 

Due to the unfortunate COVID-19 situation spring 2020 club soccer was cancelled and I am just now gearing up to get video to share from my 2022 spring club season.  The video I have shared here is of just one 2021 high school game.
