As a high school student with a passion for soccer, my collegiate goals are not only to excel on the field but make an impact off of it as a student-athlete. I consistently am working on trying to improve my skills both on and off the field by challenging myself both academically and athletically. I currently maintain a 3.7 GPA while taking both honors and college-level classes as well as playing both varsity and club soccer.
My dedication to the sport is unmatched, as I have been playing the sport for 13 years and have never lost my drive to be on the pitch. I began my soccer career as a striker but started playing defensive positions in middle school. This shows my ability to adapt to different coaching styles and the needs of the team. Also, I can understand how the game is played from multiple perspectives.
As a player, I am consistently striving to improve individually but also as part of the team as a whole. I have a strong work ethic and effective leadership skills that are reflected in my commitment to a team's success. This was reflected in that I had the honor this year of being awarded all-conference as a junior in my high school. My goal in college is to be a well-rounded individual by playing soccer while being able to achieve my life goals.
