Luis Perez '22 Recruiting Profile

I’m a student/athlete native from Dominican Republic. Although English is not my primary language, I have been studing English since elementary school, and I’m well prepared to continue with the learning process, as I’m doing in my preparatory school since Junior year.

I’m passionate about sports. Playing soccer since 8 years old, and currently at competitive level, I would like to continue involved in the athletics area, not only playing on the soccer team, but studding Sports Management mayor. I have played a lot of sports and the truth is that I learn and excel quickly in sports and I think that is a privilege and an advantage that not everyone has.

I’m looking to success in my next personal challenge, being a college student/athlete, where I can grew to be a better person and professional graduate.

Since Elementary school i have being involved in my development and competition as a Soccer athlete/Student, active in more than 3 soccer academies, until recently.

The CBHN Sports program, is part of the different National Federations corresponding to these disciplines, which provides the athletes with the opportunity to compete on a higher level. We practiced and played for 4 hours weekly, and compete with local tournaments against other schools and soccer academies.

The Barca Soccer Academy RD, is the local soccer academy from FC Barcelona. I played from U10 to U14, we practiced and played for 4 hours weekly, and had the opportunity to travel to Barcelona to compete against the other Barcelona FC academies around the world.

La Meca Football Club, is a local soccer academy that I played and developed since U8, having the opportunity to compete in different local tournaments like district and national rising stars. Algo, we competed internationally tournaments in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica.

I continue my development in the Marianapolis soccer Team since Junior.
