Dylan Mirakian Bio:
I am a dedicated, hard working competitor that plays for the IMG Academy at the U16 MLS NEXT age group and for the Armenian National Team.
Loyalty to my teammates brings me pride and I strive to show leadership through encouragement and humble confidence on and off the pitch. My tenacity, relentless work rate and winning mentality are some of the attributes I'm most known for. I have always set high goals for everything I do in life and I work tirelessly to achieve them. I understand the importance of adversity along my journey. Still, I persevere in the face of every challenge. I never quit.
IMG Academy / MLS NEXT (2023 - Current)
- In 2023 I was invited to join the IMG Academy and the U16 MLS NEXT team under head coach Nathan Smith and Marcelo Carrera.
Sporting Kansas City Academy / MLS NEXT (2018 - 2023)
- I entered the Sporting Kansas City Professional Development Academy when I was invited to join the club’s Center of Excellence program designed to provide supplemental training and early talent identification for boys aged eleven and younger to receive training directly from the Sporting Kansas City Academy coaching staff. I was subsequently invited to join the Sporting Kansas City Academy U12 program and entered a year early at age 10. I traveled with the team and participated in the GA Cup held in Atlanta in my first season. I was a consistent starter and top performer with the SKC Academy for the U12, U13, U14 and U15 seasons.
Armenia National Team (2022 - Current)
- In 2022, I was invited by the Football Federation of Armenia to join the U15 National Team team that represented Armenia in the UEFA International Development Tournament held in North Macedonia, in which Armenia faced the nations of Kosovo, Thailand and North Macedonia. I registered three international appearances, starting in each game.
United States Futsal National Team (2019, 2021)
- I was invited to represent the US Youth Futsal National Team and traveled to Barcelona in 2019 and Madrid in 2021 for international competitions. In 2019, I scored the match tying goal for the United States against the Catalonia National Team.
Other International Experience
- In 2017, I was invited to join a select group of U11 American players for the FC Barcelona International Tournament held at La Masia in Barcelona, Spain. I led the team in scoring, registering the match winning goal against Canada.
- In 2021, I was invited to guest play for the Crystal Palace U14 Academy Team in Premier League competition.
Notable Athletic Accomplishments:
I am also an elite distance runner and accomplished in triathlon and cross country.
United States Triathlon 2X National Champion
- In 2017 and 2018, I competed against the top youth triathletes across America and won consecutive U.S. National Titles in the U.S. championship event held in Cincinnati, Ohio.
World Record 4 Mile Distance
- In 2017 and 2019, I registered official world record times for my age in the 4-mile distance.
- 26:13 in 2017, WR for 9-year-old males
- 23:54 in 2019, WR for 11-year-old males
United States Cross Country National Champion Runner-Up
- In 2018, I finished National Champion Runner-Up in the 10-year-old boys division in Cincinnati, Ohio.
