Jorge Pasturczak '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Jorge Pasturczak, I am 17 years old and I currently live in Bolingbrook IL. I've been playing soccer since the age of 4 and Travel/Club at the age of 10. My dream being a 1st generation student is to ultimately be able to provide for my parents. My mom came to the United States from Mexico and my dad from Brazil. My parents have gone through a lot of personal struggles, This year is going to be my mom's 12th year fighting cancer and my dad was in a work accident last year that prevented his ability to walk normally. Even though he's left like this, he is the only one in my house able to work because my mom isn't able to. But in order to achieve this dream I have to get to the next step, collegiate soccer.

My strongest asset on the field would have to be my vision. Besides that I like to think of myself as a team leader. I want to show my teammates that mistake are okay as long as you use them to your advantage. I like to soak in every bit soccer IQ as I can, whether it be tactical, physical, anything 

Academically I've been in honors and AP classes all my life. I've kept a high GPA my whole academic career and I don't intend on breaking the streak 

I really want to play college level soccer to gain some experience and hopefully take my skills and love for the game to the next level
