Soccer has been a large part of my life since I was 6 years old and I've realized that I always want it to be part of my life. I want to be able to play as long as I can, and College is a great way to play high-level soccer while at the same time receiving higher education. I want to play at the highest level and to do that I'm willing to put in the extra work during and outside of practices, I've always worked hard with whatever I'm doing especially when it comes to my academics and athletics. I have maintained a 3.48 GPA throughout High School while at the same time playing for a futsal club and a soccer club for the past two years. I know how to grind it out and manage my time even with little free time.
In sports, luck goes hand in hand with talent but putting in the extra practice and work is the main reason for success. Without the help of many coaches and the support of my family I would never be able to play at the level I do, but at the same time, I wouldn't still be playing where I am if I hadn't put in the work at any chance I could. I'm thankful every day for the opportunities I was given, opportunities that most people are not lucky enough to have, but I've also worked and worked at it so that I could keep having those chances and prove why I deserve them more than someone else.
