I have been playing soccer since I was six years old, developing my skills through club soccer with two different clubs along the span of seven years (and counting). My history of playing soccer through many different skill levels has helped me to realize that I always need to be willing to improve. I have learned to improve when I make a mistake by asking myself, "What can I change next time so that the same mistake does not happen again?". My dedication to soccer has allowed me to be able criticize myself and make the necessary changes to improve. I have learned recently that my team and I can have a lot of fun while still keeping the competitive nature that I love. I believe that being supportive is the most important aspect of any team player because of how they can lift up an entire team. I strive to always be supportive of my teammates, using constructive critisism to help them improve. The most important part of being on a school team is being able to represent the school. I played one season of high school soccer and it was an honor to be able to wear my school colors when I played. I always tried to be respectful and resopnsible when I was in uniform because I knew that I represent the whole team. In high school, I have focused my studies in the field of engineering with heavy focus on math and science, especially physics. I challenged myself with taking AP classes and fill what free time I have left with soccer and robotics and mentoring clubs. I have taken engineering classes to learn as much as I can about the engineering field before college. In college I hope to study either mechanical or aerospace engineering with the intent of working in the aerospace field.
