Jameson Neill '25 Recruiting Profile

I am in search of my 4-year collegiate soccer home where I can enter as a role player and develop into an impact player. 

This fall high school season I contributed 13 goals and 11 assists to the team's overall record during our season. The Circle City Conference shared a ranking of #4 in overall scoring for the 2023 season and the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) noted my assists as #14 for my class. During my club season, we have played 11 games to date and I have been able to contribute 9 goals and am motivated to keep finding many different ways to contribute to the team as our season progresses. 

As an athlete, I am a driven, coachable playmaker who values integrity and discipline. I have learned how to successfully become the missing puzzle piece a team needs by quickly reading team chemistry, reading the field, and understanding my role in being a flexible impact player; my primary positions have been left wing and striker. 

There is no point when I hit a place that allows me to rest or take my foot off of the pedal; there is an inner drive and competitiveness that fuels me daily. I am flexible in playing different positions when the team chemistry requires a switch. I respond well to being pushed by myself and others beyond my current limits both on and off the field.

As a man, I believe that when you say you will do something, you do it. Early is on time and on time is late. There is always room for improvement. I do not like losing or being wrong, but they both fuel me to do better next time; I am continually working on my pride. I value silent leadership through actions, integrity, and discipline.

As a student, I have to work harder in school and have had to learn how to study more effectively, being in a college preparatory school my whole life. It has taught me how to overcome challenges and find ways to succeed when I hit a roadblock. My grades are steadily and consistently trending upward each year of high school, even as the content gets more challenging. 

I will graduate in May of 2025 from Heritage Christian College Preparatory School, where I have attended since Prep-K.

Off the field, I spend time with my friends and prefer to be doing something active. Working out and eating right are important to me. I attend church weekly and participate in my youth group. I like to feed my body, mind, and spirit healthy content as that is what makes me the best version of myself both on and off the field. I chose my friends wisely because iron sharpens iron; my pastor says, “Show me your five closest friends and I will show you your future.”
