AJ Neal '22 Recruiting Profile

I have loved the game of football my entire life.  I did step away from it for a while and came back to my first love 1.5 years ago in my junior year.  I had my best performance, probably in our fifth game into the season.  I was making play after play and I felt like my old self again, playing the game I love and having so much fun while doing it.  After that game, I won defensive player of the game; it was so exciting, and I was honored.  That was just such an amazing feeling to win that award because I hadn’t played football in so long. I felt like football is what I was made to do.

I am so excited to be back in the game and ready to work with a team to go to the next level on and off the field as a collegiate student athlete.  I am highly motivated and enjoy being in a team atmosphere focused on a goal and crushing it.  I have had my share of adversity, but it has built resiliency and lifelong learning.  I hope to be a part of your future and I look forward to building a relationship with you and your coaching staff.
