Jonathan Eggers '22 Recruiting Profile

I am an experienced Australian soccer player who has played at some of the highest levels in Australia, whilst working under the best teams and coaches. I have played representative football in Australia for the last 5 years, training up to 4 times a week and playing games on the weekends. Not only have I gained a lot of knowledge from playing the game, I also love the game, and love learning about the game. I currently study and Macquarie University, attaining a 3.5 GPA in my first academic year. This has come after finishing my High School Certificate at Northholm Grammar School, achieving an ATAR of 80, highlighting that I was in the top 20% of students in my state. I believe that I am a perfect candidate for a college team as not only am I an experienced player, but also a motivated character and a natural leader. I prioritise not only the success of myself, but more importantly the success of the team. Not only am I experienced off the pitch, but I am a hard and committed worker, who is very dedicated to my studies, with the achievement of reaching and maintaining the highest grades possible. I believe I am a better fit from other recruits as not only am I a skilled and experienced player with deep knowledge of the game, but also a dedicated worker towards my studies who always wants to achieve the most.
