Miguel Gomez '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Miguel Juan Gomez, and I play full back in Colegio Albania 's soccer team. Since the first time I played this sport, I completely fell in love with this sport, and soccer became my passion. I am really committed to excelling as much as possible in soccer. As a full back, I've learned and developed the importance of defensive strength, tactical intelligence, and supporting offensive plays. My speed, agility, and precise tackling make me a reliable defender, while my overlapping runs and accurate crosses add an offensive edge to me as a complete fullback. I also have a pretty solid constructive autocriticism and work as much as possible to improve at any lacking aspect of my game.

My college goals include excelling academically, but I’m mainly focused into getting to a top-tier soccer program. I am dedicated to maintaining a high GPA and continuously developing my leadership skills. Besides soccer, I actively participate in the school leadership program, “The Big Family”, which has taught me perseverance, teamwork, the importance of maintaining a positive attitude, and evidently, leadership. I believe in working hard to improve every day and learning from my mistakes, as resilience is crucial for both personal growth and team success.
