The Story
I've worked extremely hard so far and plan on continuing this until I attain my first Professional Contract. I'm moving to Liverpool FC's foundation college, which is their youth development team from 6th January, 2016 until July 31st, 2017. My skype ID is harshchoudhary21.
In July 2014, I realized my dreams of becoming a Professional Footballer. Up till then, I'd been part of various youth academies from the MSI Regional League in Bethesda, Maryland in the USA to playing in youth leagues in New Delhi, India with the oldest club in the state, Hindustan Football Club where I was playing U-17 at the age of 13. But that wasn't close to the training players at Pro Club youth acadmies were doing and last year in July 2014, when I was 15 and playing at FC Barcelona Escola U-17 & U-19, I realized I needed to improving my training to become as good as a player at a pro club academy. I increased my training to 13 times a week around 3-4 hours a day and I wasn't just going for runs like most do, I was doing drills every morning and every evening and working on different areas under the Technical and Physical aspect of the games (Ball control, First Touch, Long Balls, Passing, Dribbling, Speed, Power, Endurance, Quickness, Agility) to improve on each area separately to make myself the complete player and to make myself competent for Professional Soccer. I'm training 13x a week, 3-4 hours a day even now and I intend on keeping it that way along with keeping a check on my academics. Currently, I'm a part of FC Barcelona Escola U17 & U19 as well as one of the capital's best academy with the highest level of coaches in the country (UEFA A licensed), Youth Football International U17 on full scholarship. I am soon to attend football (soccer) trials in Spain in the following year, 2016. I will also be attending trials with professional clubs across Europe after I turn 18 (financial reasons refrain me from doing so until then). I have also been offered to play in the 3rd Division MEN's (DSA Senior Division) league (first time was when I was 15) but couldn't take the offer and find out more about the clubs I could've gone to as it would require travelling around for matches and I was still in the 10th grade so my parents weren't fond of the idea and hence I had to reject the offer without even knowing what clubs I could go to.
As a Center Back, I'm regarded as an excellent communicator on the pitch - I raise my voice when needed and I keep it low when needed. The words that I shout or say can be loud, but are never demoralizing, they're just to get my teammates on track and get them organized (on the pitch). I believe Communication, Leadership & Command of Area are my one of my strengths. That's followed by 1v1s and 2v1s. Since I work soccer specificly at the gym as well at some of my self training sessions, I have really good physicality as well, which is one of the main reasons in me always playing with age groups higher than I should play (U19 since I was 15 at Delhi's best academy, U17 at age 13 with a highly recognized academy in Delhi, currently U19 and U17 at age 16). I'm also very good tactically - which allows me to be right where I need to be and get my teammates where they need to be should they be out of position. I'd say I was average technically, but I'm working on it immensely and plan on being technically above average in the coming two years, by the time I'm 18 (read more in the link below) as it is an important part. My passing range is good and is accurate most of the time. I'm aggressive whilst going in for a tackle but nothing that would get me a card. One weakness of mine that I'm improving is starting the attack through the midfield more than playing out through to the full backs and wingers.

http://www.harshchoudhary.wordpress.com - I document my journey of making it as a Professional Soccer player here. Here I make Weekly Reflections of my performance in training (what I did wrong, what I did right, feedback from coaches every session and where I need to improve) and about anything related to my football such as being offered trials in Spain . You can find out more about me there.
