Personal Statement

I have played soccer since I was 4 years old and have always had a love and a passion for the game. I want to continue to play soccer after highschool. I am currently starting my Senior 2022-2023 year in France after being accepted into the Michael Hidalgo International Football Academy. Previously, I played club soccer year round with the French Soccer Academie (formerly ESI) Kansas. I play either defensive midfield or centre back. I have been on the Kansas ODP state team for the past 3 years, and was selected for the travel roster to play at the Memphis regional event in February, 2020 and 2021. I was also selected for the 2021 ODP Midwest Regional ID camp in June 2021 and July 2022. I was also a starting center back in the 2019 Kansas state cup championship team with the SPA 05 Puma team. I consider myself to be a very good technical player with a strong ability to read the game with good instincts and a high level understanding of game tactics. I have excelled in my school work and take many honors classes. I am interested in going into a computer science or engineering field in college.
