Devon Rutschmann '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Devon Rutschmann from Topeka Kansas and I played for Washburn Rural High School. Throughout 3 years at the school I scored 49 goals and contributed with 41 assists. (Freshman Year; 12 goals 3 assists at Topeka West High School) I am 5 ft 7 inches around 140 lbs with a primary left foot who has played up top as a striker but would probably best fit out wide at the college level. I have had a lot of stats throughout high school but pride myself on my best attribute is probably my decision making, knowing when to pass, dribble, play simple, etc. I am very technically gifted and fast with the ball at my foot being able to pick out passes and get by defenders at ease. Throughout my years of playing, I've been know as the person to get the ball to so they can go make a play for the team. While having a good soccer side I am also good in the classroom taking IB classes/AP classes. I have a 3.75 unweighted GPA and 4.0 weighted GPA.
