Colin Broadbent '25 Recruiting Profile

From the young age of 4, soccer has been a constant companion.  It continues to teach me the importance of dedication, perseverance, teamwork, and leadership.  I have spent countless hours on the field, improving my skills, and working with teammates and coaches to achieve common goals. 

Soccer is more than a game to me.  It has been a passion and means to learn invaluable life lessons that has shaped me into the person I am on and off the field. 

I take my academics just as seriously as my soccer.  Balancing both has required strong time management and discipline, and I have maintained a high level of academic performance.  I understand the importance of excelling in the classroom as well as on the field, and I remain committed to being a student athlete who contributes not only to soccer but also as diligent, and responsible scholar. 

On the field I am versatile and have been able to adapt to many positions required to be able to contribute value to the role that benefits the team the most.  My willingness to accept coaching and desire for constant improvement make me adaptable and coachable.  I believe these assets set me apart as a player. 

I am seeking a place on a collegiate soccer team where I can be a part of a supportive and ambitious soccer community that aligns with my values and goals.  I want the opportunity to be a part of a college’s academic and athletic tradition while winning games and pursuing my degree.
