2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I have a strong passion for this beautiful game and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to support my team. My position on the field is defender and I'm comfortable playing anywhere on the back line (right/left/center back). I am known to be vocal on the field to keep teammates motivated and focused. Over the 13+ years of playing soccer, I have been trained to play in all positions. Understanding all positions has helped me be a strong defender and team player.
I am a senior at DeMatha Catholic High School with a GPA of 3.21. On top of playing for Next Level Soccer Ajax 05, I just ended my final year on DeMatha’s Varsity team, played for Washington Capital United 05B Blue (top level) and finished the season (undefeated) on the Maryland State ODP U17 team as the Eastern Regional Champions.
Although I have not decided on a major, I want to pursue a career that incorporates my strengths in math, science, and communication.
